Taking a good photo of a fleeting moment, such as a rolling wave coming in at the beach, can be surprisingly difficult. Even if you frame it right, capturing the exact moment you want is a challenge!

Luckily, modern cameras have a lot of features that make getting the snap you want a lot easier. Once you get the exact frame and colour you want, by dialing in the aperture and white balance, it's worth remembering about shutter speed. Shutter speed is often overlooked, but if you want to avoid the blurriness, a faster shutter speed is the way to go.
